All SILBER products are equipped with multiple sealing systems. High quality silicone is used for this which remains permanently elastic at temperatures ranging between -60° to +250° Celsius. The sealings are continous in the corners and prevents a break in the insulating air chambers. This prevents draughts and saves on heating costs.

Wet glazing
The connection of glass and frame is standard wet glazing. This type of glazing is a homogeneously closed, where compared to a rubber seal, there can be no interruptions. The silicone is applied thickly and the excess is removed by hand by a professional. This ensures an optimal appearance, without cracks and cavities.

Aluminum sub-frame
As early as 1974, SILBER developed its own aluminum sub-frame. This enables the installation of high quality SILBER windows and doors after all plastering and screeding works are completed. This prevents damage during the construction phase.
